Business Development Manager

As an early member of the London team you’ll help them grow by acquiring and building relationships with some of the world’s leading companies. This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly-growing business in its scale-up phase, learn valuable business development skills, and make an impact.

What you’ll be doing

  • Proactively identifying new prospects and developing your portfolio of clients
  • Heading up product demos and client pitches with C-level executives
  • Negotiating contracts and closing deals
  • Building long term relationships with your clients
  • Participating in the definition and implementation of the sales strategy
  • Working with clients in the UK and abroad – with occasional international travel

What they’re looking for

  • 2-3 years’ experience in B2B sales
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a top university or business school
  • Experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • An ambitious and highly motivated individual with a great work ethic
  • Experience in closing deals with complex sales cycles
  • Personable, friendly and great on the phone
  • Comfortable interacting with Directors and C-level executives
  • Excellent at communicating in written and spoken English

Bonus points

  • Familiarity with financial and professional services
  • A second language
  • Experience in a software startup
  • A strong ping-pong forehand!
